Prairie Home Farm

Picked up some huckleberry pies, and they were not only the best pies I’ve had in Idaho, but they were up there with the best pies I’ve ever had. Not only that, but they were packaged perfectly, and huge to boot! I will definitely get pies there again, and suggest anyone that hasn’t tried them to do so. I can’t wait to get a mincemeat pie for Christmas!

Wish I could leave 0 stars. We tried to attend Saturday with our family of 4, our youngest son is disabled and is visually impaired. We patiently waiting in line then when it was our turn I asked about pricing and the younger girl helping directed me towards the owner and I showed a flier I had received for an event for visually impaired children. She loudly stated, “All those blind kids were here last night, none here today”, I said I understood if we had the date wrong and stated that we would still like to do the pumpkin patch and was about to hand her my card to pay and she shooed my family away directing us to move out of line and wouldn’t look at us and started to help the next person. She was loud and rude. She made a point to not allow my family entrance. I was also informed she was not pleasant towards some of the families with disabled children who had attended the night prior. Do not bring your families here.

Great little pumpkin patch! There were lots of pumpkins to choose from and the baby pigs were so cute…what fun!

So much down home, old fashioned fun! What could be better for a kid than a couple hours on a farm petting and feeding a goat, jumping on a tractor or tire swing, picking pumpkins, and chasing a chicken?

This place was super fun. Got a great pumpkin. And my son loved the old farm equipment.
